EN19 Chemical Composition
EN19 carbon content comes under carbon content of 0.35-0.45 %. The manganese content is 0.50-0.80 %. Due to high carbon, manganese, and chromium content, EN19 material has high hardness. The steel comes under low alloy chrome-moly steel. The EN19 alloy steel has no Nickel Content as compared to EN24 steel. Mo Content of 0.20-0.40 is present in the material. P and S are restricted to 0.05 % max. Excess content of P and S can damage the steel and can cause the steel to break at low-stress forces.
